RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

​

In consideration of participating in any workshop, class, private event, or self-guided experience offered by Brite Candle Co. LLC, I, the undersigned, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brite Candle Co. LLC and its employees against any and all claims for personal injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in these activities, including the resulting products.

I acknowledge that all experiences at Brite Candle Co. involve inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that may result in injury, illness, or other harm. These experiences include, but are not limited to:

• Candle Making (hot wax, hot equipment, glassware, fragrance oils)

• Soap Making (hot soap base, fragrance oils, colorants)

• Perfume / Cologne Making (alcohol bases, glassware, fragrance oils)

• Car Diffuser Making (alcohol bases, fragrance oils, glassware)

• Any other scent-making or crafting activity offered by Brite Candle Co.

I voluntarily release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, and indemnify Brite Candle Co. LLC from any and all claims or liabilities related to bodily injury, allergic reactions, property damage, product usage, or risks associated with materials and equipment used during these experiences.

MEDICAL & ALLERGY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I understand that fragrances, essential oils, alcohol bases (including SDA 40B and 99% Ethyl Alcohol), DPG, colorants, soap materials, mica powders, and other crafting ingredients may cause:

• Skin irritation

• Respiratory sensitivity

• Headaches or nausea

• Allergic reactions

• Eye or clothing irritation

I acknowledge that:

• It is my responsibility to know my own allergies and sensitivities.

• If I apply perfume/cologne to my skin, this is done at my own risk.

• Brite Candle Co. is not responsible for reactions that occur during the event or after I leave the premises.

• Any medical attention required as a result of participation is my sole responsibility.

This acknowledgment applies to myself and any minor I am signing on behalf of.

HEAT & EQUIPMENT HAZARD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I understand that Brite Candle Co.’s experiences involve:

• Melted soy wax and soap base reaching temperatures up to 200°F

• Hot melters, and pouring pitchers

• Glass containers that may become hot during pouring

• Alcohol-based solutions that are flammable

• Sharp tools such as scissors, or droppers

  I understand and accept:

• I must handle all equipment with caution.

• I assume all risk of burns, spills, slips, or injuries.

• Minors must be supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

Brite Candle Co. LLC is not responsible for injuries sustained from improper handling of tools, materials, or equipment.

PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT

By registering for any candle-making, soap-making class, or private event, I grant Brite Candle Co. LLC permission to capture and use photographs, videos, or other media of the event for promotional, marketing, or social media purposes.

I understand that:

• No additional consent will be requested,

• No compensation will be provided, and

• Images may be used in print, digital, or online promotions at Brite Candle Co.’s discretion.

This form is required to be filled out for each guest participating.

By signing at time of visit, I acknowledge the following:

• I have read and fully understand this Liability Waiver & Release Form.

• I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

• I release Brite Candle Co. LLC from all liability for any injuries, reactions, or damages.

• This waiver applies to all current and future experiences offered by Brite Candle Co.
